Toning Exercises For Women

Any woman will tell you two things. One is that all women should workout more because the huge benefits of toning exercises for women are so clear cut. And the second thing is, "who has the time to exercise?" This page helps with toning exercises for women.

The truth is that the life of the modern women is one of nonstop activity and demands on your time. From work to child rearing or chasing down a guy to marry to chasing the guy you are married to, worthy causes to just the "stuff" of keeping house, keeping all those plates spinning at the same time can just eat up a gals day in no time. So to find the time to go home, change into workout clothes, go to the gym, work out, shower, put on make up, make yourself gorgeous again and get home just doesn't seem to be available. Yes, working out may only take 30 minutes but the trip to the gym, getting ready and recovering from the gym can eat up the better part of an evening.

If only exercise didn't take so much time, then we might be able to carve out a part of our day for it. The benefits we can look forward to if we maintain a routine exercise are clear cut including…

  • Exercise can lower estrogen levels which in turn makes us less susceptible to breast cancer and other clearly feminine problems that can be deadly if they are not caught.
  • Better posture which is an overall health benefit but makes you look great too.
  • More stamina during the day so that hectic schedule doesn't wear you down so badly.
  • Fewer aches and pains at night because your muscle tone is up to the task of getting you through the day.
  • A better attitude toward life because you feel better. You become a happier gal which puts that gorgeous smile on your face and presto, the men come out of the woodwork.
  • A better sex life because you are physically able to be romantic and enjoy love making.

The sad thing is that the very things that run you down every day because of your hectic lifestyle as a modern women are things that you would be better equipped to handle life if you could exercise each day. Toning exercises for women can make you MORE efficient and able to hold up under a busy schedule. But its exercise that seems to get cut from the schedule most quickly because you just don't have the time for it.

The answer is to work exercise into your daily life. Yes, running to the gym at night might not be something you can realistically do 4 times a week. But you can do fifteen minutes of moderate exercise in the morning during your wake up time. You might be able to take Fido on the walk when you get home rather than flopping on the couch in a dead heap and use fifteen to twenty minutes a day just to get some exercise and get your heart rate up.

You will be amazed that within days of starting to make exercise a regular part of your life, you will have more energy and feel more able to handle your busy life. Exercise is the type of thing that once you are into it, you won't want to stop. But you can always find more of those "little moments" in life to get more exercise. You can park further from the door at the grocery or work and walk further to your office. Take the steps rather than the elevator and use those times when you are "waiting" in traffic or even in the elevator to do some calisthenics.

Not only will you reduce your frustration of being held up during those times, you will come out of your day better tones and ready to greet each new day with more energy and strength. And while toning exercises for women are not a battle cry for women's liberation, when you are a strong and capable women because you feel great, you might find yourself humming "I am woman, watch me roar" and mean it.

Exercise top Tip #1

Build up slowly. I know that most of us leave our exercise to the last minute, you leave it until you only have one month until that huge party and you need to lose some weight and get in shape for it fast. You then rush into it, doing nothing properly and pushing yourself too hard which inevitably leads to you getting injured and/or giving up. You need to ease into the routine and build the level up over time.

Exercise top Tip #2

Don't be self conscious. This is the hardest tip to follow! When you first start off you are probably not in the best shape, so you body and the amount of exercise you can do may leave you slightly self conscious. This is dangerous as it can kill your fitness ambition before you even start. Put a big smug smile on your face when you get there and just remember, in a month or two you will be exactly as fit and trim as them if you work hard, then you can lose your worries, but if you let your doubts get the better of you and give up then you won't ever get to be the slim trim star of the gym!

Exercise top Tip #3

Each workout aim to improve ever so slightly. If you improve by staying on the exercise bike for just 10 seconds longer each time you go then after just 6 visits that will be a whole extra minute that you are on there for but you only have to deal with it 10 seconds at a time! This way you push yourself every time, have goals to aim for and will be constantly improving - go for it!
